Our Management Team is made up of seasoned professionals with an average tenure of more than twenty years. By practicing a hands-on style of management, every client and project garners the highest degree of responsiveness and personal attention. Our department managers work together to insure a safe, efficient and effective program whether new construction, renovations or property maintenance.

Sandra Benton, President / CEO, FCLC

With over 20 years of professional experience in construction contract administration, accounting and landscape project management, Sandy oversees all aspects of the business. Research in business startups made becoming a certified Minority Contractor a great asset in the municipal market. Sandy is one of the first women to pass the Florida Nursery Growers and Landscape Association Certified Landscape Contractor exam completing a full day of technical and physical field exams as well as an additional full day of the written testing program including estimating, legal, accounting etc. Sandra has recently become a FNGLA certified judge.

Tom Benton, Vice President, Landscape Division, FCLT

Having made South Florida his home in 1980, Tom began working in the landscape industry almost immediately. With the knowledge and leadership he possessed he quickly became the operations manager of the landscape installation division of one of the largest real estate development companies in South Florida. Tom continues his hands on management since joining the family business twelve years ago and is still managing some of the same great team of field professionals from years before. He is FLCT certified & a certified judge.

Karmen Burn, Vice President, COO

Karmen brings us years of extensive paralegal knowledge including construction, corporate and contract law. Learning the landscape construction business came easily for Karmen who manages projects from inception to completion including estimate and contract review, permitting, progress billings and close-out. She works hands on with the operations managers and attends construction meetings to ensure that our projects run efficiently.

Steve Burn, Vice President, Irrigation Division

Steve is our irrigation license qualifier who manages the irrigation division. Steve has years of experience in the construction industry. Managing the installation of irrigation systems from 2” to 8” mainline, Steve and his team have over 100 years of irrigation experience. You will often find Steve in the field, personally ensuring that our projects run smooth and our clients are happy and satisfied. Steve also holds our Green Certificate. Being a member of the Irrigation Society and Irrigation Association ensures our commitment to being the best in the industry.

Mark Christofori, General Manager

Having a wide spectrum of South Florida Green Industry knowledge Mark brings 32 years of experience in landscape design, installation and maintenance to our team. Customer satisfaction and building new relationships is a key part of Mark's role.

Edward Barry, Landscape Property Maintenance Manager, FCLT

Ed offers over 28 years of landscape maintenance and installation experience in South Florida. Ed is a FNGLA Certified Landscape Technician and Judge which has assisted him in administering our superior crew training and safety programs. He strives to insure that we exceed our clients expectations to enhance and preserve the investment on their properties.

Ben Tucker, Landscape Purchasing & Designer & Inspector

Ben is a long time employee with a landscape background since 1978. He has a passion for anything to do with landscaping and has taken that passion to become a FNGLA Certified Horticultural Professional and Landscape Inspector. A man wearing many hats, Ben is in charge of purchasing all the plant materials and directing our Safety Program. He also has the knowledge, expertise and touch to design landscapes ranging from the native xeriscapes to the lushest tropical paradise.

Robert Ross, State Certified Pest Operator

Robert Ross began his lawn care career in 2003. Since then, Robert has gained extensive knowledge in the lawn care and pest control industry. He has been certified by the State of Florida in lawn and ornamental pest control, aquatic pest control and green industry best management practices. Robert is also a certified horticulture professional and carries a tree trimmer class B license.

Dawn Weber, Director of Human Resources / Accounts Payable

Dawn Weber manages a vital position in our day to day operations. With over 15 years experience in human resources and business accounting, Dawn brings strong business and strategic skills to our daily accounting and HR operations. Dawn is HRM certified and is an active member with the Society of Human Resource Management.

Dierdre Madgey, Senior Estimator

Dierdre Madgey has over 15 years experience in landscape and irrigation estimating with most of that time being our lead estimator. Deirdre’s hands-on knowledge and critical thinking enables her to effectively bid projects in their entirety.

Jeff Jenerou, Estimator

After graduating from Central Michigan University earning his Bachelors Degree in Construction Mangement and Industrial Safety, Jeff joined Landscape Service Professionals in the summer of 2007. Although titled as an Estimator, Jeff serves multiple roles, some of which include business development and networking, aiding in field operations, assisting Karmen with project management, as well as helping organize community service events.

Administrative Assistant & Business Development Coordinator

Jennifer Benton is our newest team member. Jennifer’s sharp computer and organization skills enables her to research job leads, receive plans and specs for bidding and follow-up on bids, all under critical deadline restrictions. Her can-do/will-do attitude is a notable benefit to our entire staff. Jennifer is currently attending Broward College pursuing her AS degree.
